STV Bingo

STV Bingo
Closing Soon

We have many new bingo sites listed on our dedicated page, and quite a few that are reported to be coming soon too. The closure of brands is quite a rarity nowadays but a bit like buses it would seem. It was only earlier this month that Film Bingo ‘cut’ and left the online bingo scene and on 29th of this month, STV Bingo is doing the same.

STV Bingo is a brand that first launched in 2006, so one of the most established. At the time of launch, it was powered by the 888 software as part of the Cashcade network of sites. However, in 2014 the site made a change of software and was migrated to the Bede Gaming platform.

Foxy Zero Vanishes!

Foxy Zero
Closes Down

Over the last few months we have seen many changes to popular brands under the Cashcade / bwin.Party hat. The changes include a change of mascot at Foxy Bingo and Casino, a makeover for Cheeky Bingo and today, we have found the Foxy Zero is no more!

Foxy Zero launched a few months after Cheeky Bingo opened in February 2009 so has been around for quite some time. However, whilst it may have been around a while, in all that time is has always been in the shadows when compared to the likes of Cheeky and Foxy Bingo. You only had to look at the overall design of the site before it closed to see that it had gathered dust. Where the main Foxy brand had received a swish new look, Zero aged.

Cashcade Drop Neteller As A Payment Option

Thursday, Feb. 18th 2016 7:52 AM

Neteller has been a mainstay payment solution for many online bingo sites since we saw the first brand launch a decade or so ago. Probably a more popular option for our American cousins, it’s been a little redundant for quite some time – we certainly don’t know of many players who use it to fund their bingo accounts. Cashcade informed us that they have no dropped this method from their brands.

What was quite interesting in the email that we received was that Cashcade, the owners of brands like Foxy Bingo, listed the payment solutions that they still accept and included in this was Ukash. Ukash ceased accepting and selling vouchers in October 2015!

Mirror Bingo Moves To Virtue Fusion

Thursday, Jul. 17th 2014 7:55 AM

Mirror Bingo, from the newspaper group of the same name has been a Cashcade favourite since its launch but recently the brand has been streamlined and many of the sites have lost their original feel. It may be that that’s fuelled the decision by the Mirror group to move the sites over to the Virtue Fusion software.

The decision was announced a little while ago and for most of yesterday Mirror Bingo was offline. At about dinner time the site finally went live, moving all the operations, lock, stock and barrel over to the Virtue Fusion software. We’ll be updating the Mirror Bingo review soon.

Mirror Bingo To Move To Virtue Fusion

Monday, Jun. 9th 2014 7:15 AM

There have been quite a few changes around the bingo world of late and we have one more to add to the list with the news that Mirror Bingo is moving its operations from the Dragonfish bingo software over to Playtech on the Virtue Fusion software.

Mirror Bingo is currently on the Cashcade network, on the 888/Dragonfish software and only recently STV Bingo also left this network to join Bede Gaming. However, it’s Virtue Fusion for the newspaper bingo site, the software of choice for some of the biggest sites out there! Virtue Fusion has a list of accolades to its name including Best Online Bingo Software in this year’s bingo awards, it’s one of the best known software packages out there supporting huge names in bingo such as Ladbrokes and Gala Bingo.

Bingo Godz Update

Thursday, Aug. 1st 2013 1:22 PM

Although Bingo Stars has been the first brand to launch on the Bede Gaming software it is Bingo Godz that we are really excited about, a brand that is set to launch next month. A recent Facebook post by a former Cashcade team member revealed a little more information about Bingo Godz and what it is set to bring to the online bingo table when it does finally launch.

Gaming Realms is the company who will operate the new brand and if you are into investments and shares then you might have recently read about a reverse takeover of Pursuit Dynamics by the company. Trading started on Thursday on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM). Gaming Realms operates Avatingo, a social gaming product, and casino sites like Pocket Fruity and Castle Jackpot.

Think Bingo Forum Now Closed

Monday, Jul. 23rd 2012 7:55 AM

My first dalliance in the world of online bingo was at the Herotech (now Cashcade or site Think Bingo. I saw an advert on TV back in 2005 showing a £5 free offer and there I stayed as a player, loyal for about eighteen months. One of the things that made this brand better than the others was the Think Bingo forum, a place where you could interact with other players easily without having your conversation interrupted by others. A place where you could air your views, opinions and general news.

Today I tried to access the Think Bingo forum only to find it no longer available! Apparently it was closed as of 20th June 2012. I would say that I am shocked but to be honest, I’ve expected this for quite sometime. It used to be that the forum was alive with players posting but for a while now the interaction has not been what it once was.

Bingo Brolly, Where Is One When You Need One?

Thursday, Jul. 19th 2012 7:07 AM

Bingo Brolly launched in 2011 as the equivalent to the Joy Of Bingo offering but from the Cashcade sites, however a recent visit to the site revealed a “504 Gateway Time Out”, with all this rain we could all do with a Bingo Brolly but it seems to have done a disappearing act! Despite contacting Cashcade for information about what is happening, no response was received so we can only presume that this network offering didn’t prove quite as popular as that from the Joy of Bingo brands.

Previously if you were a member of Cheeky Bingo, Foxy Bingo, Think Bingo and Foxy Zero you could earn Brolly points for every £20 that you spent at any of the brands. For 10 Brolly points you earned one free card into the next Sunshine Jackpot game that was scheduled to take place and these held jackpots of £10,000!
