We recently had call to register a new account at one of the most established brands online today, Bingo Ballroom and whilst doing so, noticed that as part of the registration process there was a new question to be answered. As usual we were required to enter our name, address and date of birth but today we were asked our occupation too!

At Bingo Ballroom, and other sites on the Dragonfish network, the new question is part of the second stage of the registration process. This is where you enter your postal address and your bankroll currency. Underneath the latter you will find the new drop down menu for Occupation.

Dragonfish Brands Get A New Look

Bingo Ballroom is one of the most established Dragonfish networked brands available online and as such, the home page had started to look quite dated. Where other brands appeared to have far more aesthetically pleasing designs, Bingo Ballroom looked like it hadn’t been shown any love for quite some time. Recently that changed, a change that came about when 888 took over the running of the brand (along with Daisy Bingo, Bingo Hearts and their new site TRex Bingo).

The dancing duo who used to adorn the home page have been replaced with a selection of bingo balls in their best bib and tucker. There’s certainly more pizzazz about the landing page at Bingo Ballroom now and it’s definitely more appealing to the end user, the bingo player.

A Lick Of Virtual Bingo Paint Please!

With so many online bingo brands to choose from as a player it is often the first impression a site gives that sways our decision as to whether we take the plunge and register or simply click the back button and find another site to play at. Of course there are many other factors involved in our choices, deposit bonuses, loyalty, free games etc but if a site doesn’t look great, what impression does that give?

We’ve reviewed and played at many a brand as Playing Bingo has grown but here we take a look at some of the sites that require a lick of virtual bingo paint quite quickly. These sites may have been around quite some time but they need to do something with their landing pages in order to maintain a flow of new players through their virtual doors. Online bingo is a competitive market and without the right first impression, these brands are unlikely to see many players taking the time to register and play.
