STV Bingo

STV Bingo
Closing Soon

We have many new bingo sites listed on our dedicated page, and quite a few that are reported to be coming soon too. The closure of brands is quite a rarity nowadays but a bit like buses it would seem. It was only earlier this month that Film Bingo ‘cut’ and left the online bingo scene and on 29th of this month, STV Bingo is doing the same.

STV Bingo is a brand that first launched in 2006, so one of the most established. At the time of launch, it was powered by the 888 software as part of the Cashcade network of sites. However, in 2014 the site made a change of software and was migrated to the Bede Gaming platform.

Castle Jackpot Bingo Open Their Portcullis

Tuesday, Aug. 1st 2017 7:38 AM

We’re used to an array of new bingo sites opening on a regular basis, and you’ve only got to look at our dedicated page to find details of brands that are coming soon too. However, sometimes a site will go undetected by our journalistic nose and this is the case with Castle Jackpot Bingo.

Castle Jackpot Bingo first came to our attention when we were checking out the new Big Brother. Whilst we aren’t fans, we caught it when we were channel hopping in the commercial break, and it was here that we found the new bingo site! This brand are currently the sponsors of Big Brother.

VIP Games At Bingo Loopy

Thursday, Apr. 20th 2017 7:54 AM

Bingo Loopy is a name that has been around for quite some time in the world of online bingo. Recently the site underwent a bit of a makeover. Usually a new look for a site consists of a lick of virtual paint only, not for this brand. At this site (and a few others on the IP&S network) it was not a change in aesthetics but a change in software platform.

The site is no longer powered by the Virtue Fusion software but is using the Bede Gaming platform. The change is quite noticeable in the rooms but some of the promotional schedule remains unchanged. Remember, there is still chance to get in on the VIP games action at Bingo Loopy.

Crown Bingo And Others Make A Move

Tuesday, Apr. 4th 2017 7:11 AM

Bingo is probably one of the most established brands online today but over the years it has gone through a number of changes. The latest is that is has moved away from the Virtue Fusion software and is now powered by the Bede Gaming software on the IP&S network.

Recently we saw the IP&S network close a number of sites, sites that they probably felt didn’t make the grade in their future plans. These sites included Crazy Bingo, Bingo Friends, Simply Bingo and Bingo Today. Crown Bingo did make the grade and today we take a little look at how things have changed.

IP&S Brands Bite The Bingo Dust

IPS

IP&S
Site Closures

IP&S is probably a name that means absolutely nothing to you, and for those who are currently scratching their heads, it is a company that operates a number of bingo brands online. The most famous of those brands is probably Bingo Godz or Health Bingo but there are several currently under their hat.

Bingo Stars was their inaugural site powered by the Bede Gaming software, and some of the other names, Crown Bingo, Bingo Loopy, Bingos etc. were powered by the Virtue Fusion software. That was until a recent move to their own proprietary software that already hosted Bingo Stars. However, whilst many made the transition, some didn’t make the cut and have subsequently closed.

Software Change For STV Bingo

Wednesday, Apr. 2nd 2014 7:52 AM

STV Bingo is the bingo site of Scottish Television and it’s been around a while. However, recently the site has moved software and it’s meant huge changes! Software changes are unusual, and it’s unsurprising as it’s usually the software that draws players to the site. Undeterred by this, STV has gone ahead, moving its entire bingo operation from Dragonfish to Bede Gaming.

The Dragonfish software is indubitably the most popular and most well used software on the Internet and while that’s because it’s fantastic and easy to use, it does mean the whole industry is suffering a little Dragonfish overkill. That in mind it’s easy to see why STV Bingo has moved its operations to Bede Gaming, a much smaller software supplier, but what will the players think?

Bingo Godz Update

Thursday, Aug. 1st 2013 1:22 PM

Although Bingo Stars has been the first brand to launch on the Bede Gaming software it is Bingo Godz that we are really excited about, a brand that is set to launch next month. A recent Facebook post by a former Cashcade team member revealed a little more information about Bingo Godz and what it is set to bring to the online bingo table when it does finally launch.

Gaming Realms is the company who will operate the new brand and if you are into investments and shares then you might have recently read about a reverse takeover of Pursuit Dynamics by the company. Trading started on Thursday on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM). Gaming Realms operates Avatingo, a social gaming product, and casino sites like Pocket Fruity and Castle Jackpot.

Bingo Stars, First Bede Gaming Brand

Wednesday, Jul. 3rd 2013 4:13 AM

It was only yesterday that we aired a theory that all of the closed Better Bingo Network sites may launch on the new Bede Gaming software and asked whether the network or a standalone brand would launch first. That question has now been answered! Bingo Stars opened to players at the beginning of July 2013 with an impressive offer that is likely to see an influx of new players wanting to try out the proprietary software it has to offer.

Bingo Stars is the first to launch using the new Bede Gaming software, a product planned for another big name brand set to launch in September, Bingo Godz.
