If you have seen the latest Jackpot Joy television advert, you will know that the Queen of Bingo has headed off on a cruise for a while, leaving Paddy McGuinness in charge in her absence. He has made sure their lucky roomies have not been left wanting, and has lined up a superb Seas the Days promotion, that could see you heading off on a cruise of your own!

Before you do anything, you must first log into your Jackpot Joy account and ‘opt in’ to let them know you want to take part. Once you have done this, you’ll unlock a series of tasks, and you have until 23:59 on Thursday 30th November to complete them and earn entries for the Seas the Day prize draw.

Paddy McGuiness Outs Barbara Windsor At Jackpot Joy

Friday, Sep. 15th 2017 7:47 AM

Over the years we have seen a number of celebrities take centre stage in an online bingo commercial, and with some sites, more than one celeb has been seen on the screen for the same brand. However, when others have used multiple celebrities in one advert, they’ve usually been Z-listers. Not Jackpot Joy though, there new commercial has two well-known faces in!

When we first heard the news that Paddy McGuinness was recording a new commercial for Jackpot Joy, we thought the emphasis was going to be on the Take Me Out themed bingo game. This is not the case, far from it. It looks as though this much-loved northerner is going to be the face of the brand, at least for a while.

Dotty Bingo Take To Social Media

Thursday, Aug. 17th 2017 7:01 AM

In a very competitive market, online bingo sites have to try many different marketing sources and for Dotty Bingo, their recent dalliance has been with social media. A recent scout around YouTube for all things bingo related revealed what we thought was a commercial for the brand. However, on contacting Broadway Gaming, the company who owns Dotty Bingo, it was revealed that it is in fact a viral campaign.

The advert, which can be seen further on in this article, is 30 seconds long and tells the story of Dotty the dot and his colourful history. It tells of his beginnings and how, despite many changes over the years, his love of bingo remains as passionate as ever.

New Iceland Bingo Advert A Bit Dull

Thursday, Mar. 30th 2017 7:01 AM

When it comes to advertising any brand on television, the commercial has to catch the attention of the viewer and maintain their interest for it’s duration. A lot of online bingo adverts fall short in our opinion and the latest comes from Iceland Bingo. This brand has been around quite a while, and this is not the first time that they have advertised their wares on television, but the previous commercial was more interesting and at least had some brand / player connection.

The new advert for Iceland Bingo is full of animation but even that’s not very interesting. It consists of the logo, a penny bingo ball, a few words and then the voiceover waxing lyrical about how the site gives away of £4 million a month in prizes. It is worth noting that this is across multiple games, including slots.

Gala Bingo Back With New Advert

Tuesday, Mar. 21st 2017 7:21 AM

Gala Bingo are back on the small screen with a new advert and it’s one that instantly made is wince when we saw it. The reason for this is that having watched it all the way through, our concern was that it was ripe for an investigation from the Advertising Standards Authority under the BCAP Code 17.4.5.

This code is a rule that says gambling adverts must not “be likely to be of particular appeal to under-18s, especially by reflecting or being associated with youth culture”. The whole Gala Bingo advert looks to be set in a circus or a funfair, both of which will hold appeal for youngsters.

bgo Underfire From The ASA

Saturday, Oct. 22nd 2016 7:07 AM

It was only a short while ago that we reported on the fact that gambling adverts may well be banned on television before the 9pm watershed [read more here]. The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) furnished us with details of figures of complaints about gambling / betting adverts and although they were quite small, of the rulings for the week 19th October, there were FOUR that were gambling related.

bgo, Titanbet, Coral and LeoVegas all appeared in the rulings on the ASA page and three of the four complaints were upheld! There were three parts to the complaint about the bgo commercial but only one of the three was upheld.

Can U Beat The Boss At bgo

Saturday, Jul. 9th 2016 7:25 AM

Verne Troyer has been The Boss at bgo for quite some time now and not so long ago he was joined as Paris Hilton in a selection of commercials for the brand. That in itself would have had quite a price tag on it but the most recent adverts for the brand will also have cost quite a lot.

The reason for the hefty price tag on the latest commercials is more than just the cost of filming and location because bgo have used an iconic tune in their advert. bgo have created their own parody of the iconic 90’s tune, U Can’t Touch This by MC Hammers and called it U Can’t Beat This. Watching the advert you’re not quite sure how you should be feeling; embarrassed for Mr Troyer strutting his funky stuff to the tune or just taking it for what it is, a bit of fun that grabs the viewers attention.

Foxy Bingo Air New Commercial And £5 Free Deal

Saturday, Jan. 9th 2016 7:22 AM

When it comes to advertising, the online bingo brand that is probably best known for their commercials is Foxy Bingo. The loveable canid has been strutting his stuff on our screens for many years and like marmite, you either love him or you hate him. In the new commercial he shows off his swanky new look again and we were certainly keen to hear the music accompanying the dancing, it’s one of the many things we love about the Foxy commercials.

For this new advert you are being asked to check into Hotel Bingo and none other than the star of Foxy Radio and TV, Cristo awaits you at the door as the bellhop, or porter as we call them in the UK. The music that plays in this commercial is called Sing, Sing, Sing (With A Swing), a song original recorded in 1936 bu Louis Prima. It’s a catchy tune, and certainly fitting for the Foxy Bingo advert.
