Viking Bingo Review - Site Reviews
Viking Bingo launched in June 2015 along with a new network from Jumpman Gaming, the Wheel of Slots Network. It’s said that Vikings didn’t really have horns on their helmets, these are a misinterpretation caused by movies and other media, but the one here has horns, a blonde beard, a sword and is through and though Viking. The homepage is also adorned with a seascape, we know what travellers these people were and there’s a longship too!
The homepage is attractive enough and simply laid out so even a bingo newbie should have no trouble finding their way around this user-friendly interface. Signing up for a new account at Viking Bingo takes us just a couple of minutes and as the site only accepts debit and credit cards there’s no messing around with payment methods either.
The software is provided by Jumpman Gaming and we already know that this software is well utilised by the 15 Network. There are many similarities between the two networks, but here the bonus onus is definitely on slots and we think the Viking Bingo will appeal to players who like to spin the reels! Once you are signed up the bingo lobby is the hub of all the action and from here you’ll see a selection of bingo rooms, 90-ball and 75-ball, including specials tabs too for special jackpot games, and there’s also the range of slots and mini-games that the Wheel of Slots network is hoping you’ll love! The bingo plays well and isn’t dissimilar to other sites with this software, it’s easy to play, there’s a fair selection of ticket prices and although there aren’t a huge number of players on board we expect this to increase as the network grows.
Viking Bingo is really putting the onus on slots and as might be expected, these live up to what you’d expect. There are a ton of big named slots to play, exciting mini-games, casino games and more and they are all accessible either from the bingo lobby or from the bingo client as your game is in play.
The promotions at Viking Bingo are ok, there’s nothing spectacular but we did review on launch and as the site grows we’d expect the offerings to grow too! If the brand wanted some advice it would be to offer some unique stuff now, and make sure they stay apart from the competition!
Overall Viking Bingo is a perfectly good bingo site though we’re not sure how the match bonus replaced with a free spins bonus will go down as a permanent fixture, and that’s probably the main issue with the site, great if you’re a slots fan, but if you’re not?
