Tuck Shop Bingo Review - Site Reviews

Tuck Shop Bingo launched in November 2014, another 8 Ball Games site. Once again there is no affiliate scheme with which we can promote the brand so we have redirected our players to another site on the same network.

When we think of ‘tuck shops’ we think of children, and sweets, so we’re not sure why anyone would think this was a suitable name for an online bingo site, but that’s exactly what you get when you visit Tuck Shop Bingo. Now we love sweeties as much as the next person, and the whole theme here is dedicated to sweet jars, candy canes and everything sweet you can think of.

It’s bright and appealing, but very childish and seems aimed more at 8 year olds rather than over 18 year olds. However, we do press on and create an account. The sign up process is pretty easy and standard for the software, provided here by Dragonfish. Tuck Shop Bingo is part of the bigger Dragonfish network and do be aware that means that you are competing on one of the biggest networks online, against many players.

If you don’t wish to make a deposit immediately, there are plenty of bingo rooms to choose from where you can access free games. The free bingo room available to new players without deposit is only accessible for a few days from registration. Read more about this here. If you have played on this software before the lobby screen is likely to look fairly familiar, and once you do hit the lobby it’s Dragonfish standard from here on in. That’s not a huge complaint, this software is popular for a reason, it’s fresh, user-friendly, offers both 90-ball and 75-ball bingo and is one of the easiest bingo packages to use. This is out of the box bingo, easy, standardised, with decent graphics and good investment.

The bingo itself plays well, the player numbers are very high across the bingo rooms but there are plenty of multi-price games, and different variants of bingo, offering something for everyone. Ticket purchasing is really easy, tickets are easy on the eye and chat is fairly friendly and fast moving. All together it has the perfect ingredients of any bingo site, or Tuck Shop, but it’s available at many other sites too.

Alongside the bingo you’ll find a selection of popular games from IGT and other software suppliers, from big slots to fun arcade games and casino games, there’s all sorts on offer and you’re sure to find something you wish to play.

The big network also means there are plenty of big network promotions and there are some big jackpots and fantastic giveaways, but do be aware that these promotions are available at other sites too, and this does make things very competitive for prizes.

We maintain that we’re still unsure about the Tuck Shop name, but overall it’s a fairly bright and bubbly interface. Once you’re registered and playing though, it’s very much like other sites on the Dragonfish Network and we do feel that bingo sites need to do a little more to set themselves apart from the crowd if they wish to succeed.
