Sky Bingo Review - Site Reviews

On 4th September 2017 Sky Bingo informed us that they were terminating their affiliate program as of 2nd October 2017. For this reason we are redirecting our readers to another site that offers the same gaming experience.

Please note that with exception of the bonuses and screenshots, this review will no longer be updated.

The chances are you will have seen an advert for Sky Bingo on your television screens and when you land on the home page you’ll recognise the brand quickly. Although in comparison with many other bingo brands online today the Sky Bingo landing page is very plain, it works because it has a fresh, clean and crisp feel to it. Your eyes are instantly drawn to the welcome bonus, the main selling point for all new players at any bingo site.

There are three steps to registration at Sky Bingo; the first asks for your address, email and date of birth and uses an address lookup feature.  The second stage asks for you to choose a username, pin number (this is like your password) and other security is set up here too. You also choose your playing currency here. The final stage asks if you wish to set a deposit limit, something you don’t see at many other brands and really promotes responsible gambling. You do need to enter your financial details to complete registration but you don’t have to deposit straight away. Once all of this is done you are good to go. Click the “Play Bingo” button and you are taken to the lobby in a new browser window.

You will be asked to create a username if this is your first time at the site, a name that others at Sky Bingo will refer to you as, and then you are taken to the lobby. The lobby of Sky Bingo is absolutely jam-packed with options; there are loads of rooms to choose from – you’re really spoilt for choice at this site. There are six main tabs at the top of the screen – 90 ball, 80 ball, 75 ball, Variety, Multi-Player and All rooms. The default tab that opens is 90 ball. The information you can see for each room at Sky Bingo is room name, game, start time, prize, price per ticket, number of players and the maximum tickets available to purchase in the room.

When you’ve made the choice of the room you wish to play in you are taken to the room and if you have played at a Virtue Fusion brand before then you will no doubt be familiar with the layout; the chat room is to the left with instant win games above them as well as other Sky product details. Tickets are to the right of the screen with the call board and prize money above them. Buying tickets is quick and easy with a Quick Buy option available. You are also asked to confirm your purchase in order to proceed.

All of the rooms at Sky Bingo boast some form of extra jackpot; this is shown above the call board in the rooms and if you hover your mouse over the jackpot name, details of how you can win each individual prize are listed. Whilst the majority of the rooms at Sky Bingo are networked with other Virtue Fusion sites there are a few that are only available to Sky Bingo players. The chat host on duty at the time of writing the review told us that Variety, Sky Pennies, Value and Premium were all exclusive to Sky Bingo. However it will be pretty obvious by the number of players in the room as to which rooms are part of the network.

Sky Bingo is one of the best Virtue Fusion sites when it comes to bargain games, variety and overall gaming experience in our opinion but you should decide for yourself. We’ve only covered some of what this brand has to offer, there is so much more but we would be here forever if we covered it all!
