Rovers Bingo Review - Site Reviews

Rovers Bingo closed in September 2017. The following details are for information purpose only.

Rovers Bingo opened their kennel to the online player in January 2013, the seventh brand to launch a product on the 15 Network using the Jumpman Gaming software. Rover was once a particularly popular name for canine pets but is this brand set to enjoy similar popularity?

The home page of Rovers Bingo doesn’t quite have the ‘Je ne sais quoi’ of other brands online but you certainly know what you get as a welcome offer. Precedence is given to this on the home page with the lion’s share (or in this case, dog) of the landing page being given to the opening offer. There’s no other big selling points so is it enough to make the player want to enter the kennel?

Registration is pretty standard to all sites online today with the usual information required like your name, address, phone number etc. Financial details are required at sign up but this is for verification purposes only and no money will be taken unless you choose to visit the cashier and make a deposit. Within a few minutes you are ready to play.

When you click Play Now the lobby is your first port of call and it is here that you see what Rovers Bingo has to offer by way of bingo and instant win games. Currently there are just six bingo rooms, not all of which are open 24/7. There are 90 ball and 75 ball games on offer, although 75 ball is not available all day. Free bingo is also offered but only to players who have made a deposit with the brand.

Enter any of the bingo rooms and if you’re a fan of the 888/Dragonfish product then you will feel right at home at Rovers Bingo. The design and layout in the games rooms is very similar. Your bingo cards are to the left of the screen with game prize details above and the call board just to the right. Further to the right of the screen is the chat room with a selection of instant win games above.

The chat seems to flow pretty fast and we suggest using the ‘Options’ to turn of the notifications of player’s entering or leaving a room. The interaction between players appears to be friendly enough but we found on our visit that they host was not trying to start conversations, merely posting lucky dust and congratulatory comments.

At the time of the review the promotions available from Rovers Bingo were standard to the network with little to make the brand different to the others on the network. Having said that the site was newly launched and over time more ‘exclusive’ deals may be added.

When it comes to big jackpots, again Rovers Bingo is more bark than bite unfortunately. There are progressive jackpots available but when it comes to the pre-buy games, these are quite limited and the largest jackpot on offer currently is just £1,000 at the end of each month.

Rovers Bingo has potential but like other brands on the network, is still in its infancy. However, this is a brand you can grow with and offers a more intimate gaming experience for those players who prefer to play with the puppies rather than the big dogs!
