Health Bingo Review - Site Reviews

The Health Lottery has become part of the regular lottery schedule in the UK now, and on January 1st 2014, the brand complemented their lottery with a brand new bingo site too. Health Bingo launched using the Bede Gaming software, also used by Bingo Stars and Bingo Godz, but there's no network, each site stands alone.

Signing up for a new account at Health Bingo is as easy as 1, 2, 3, with just a few simple details to enter. Upon launch there was no free no-deposit bonus, so if you do want to try the site you will need to make a deposit, although there are generous first deposits available.

Following the Health Lottery model, the bingo site is also offering 20% to the charities that the lottery support, so if you want a bit of feel-good bingo, here’s another to add to the list of charitable bingo sites.

Everything is integrated into the main screen, so once you are ready to play just hit bingo and you’ll see the bingo lobby. During our visit we found just one 75-ball bingo room, one 90-ball bingo room, and a daily and weekly pre-buy room. It isn’t a huge amount of choice, but the rooms that are open appear to be doing brisk business with around 30 players per room.

The game screen itself is a little different to other sites, and that’s not a bad thing. However, it’s not too different. Ticket purchasing is to the left of the screen and buying tickets is simple and easy. Tickets start from just 5p during our visit, so there’s a game to suit all pockets. Taking up mainstage is the bingo tickets, as it should be, with chat to the right of the screen. Above the chat box is access to all the side games at Health Bingo and it’s a fair selection with IGT MegaJackpots leading the mini-games.

The games play well, without glitches, the bingo caller is clear and easy to hear, although we his overly enthusiastic calling got us reaching for the mute button fairly quickly.

Overall, the bingo experience is fun, and there’s plenty of bingo and games to keep your interest. There are no reload bonuses at Health Bingo, but there is a selection of promotions. These aren’t setting the world on fire, but the site is new and we can only hope these will grow and offer a bigger selection of promotions once the brand is more established.

We love the overall offering from Health Bingo, but they really need more bingo rooms. The games play well, the offering is something a little different to the hundreds of networked sites out there, but two bingo rooms does not a bingo site make! Let’s hope we see great things from this brand as it grows and picks up players.
