Glossy Bingo Review - Site Reviews

Glossy Bingo opened to players in January 2013, quite a few months after rumours of its impending launch had been heard. The home page of the site  has been set out, not as a magazine as you may have expected, but as a magazine on a table complete with coffee cup and bingo card. The design isn’t great but it is pretty clear as to what the site has to offer.

The design for the main part of the landing page is certainly set out in a magazine style similar to OK! And Heat, two glossy magazines that you are probably familiar with. Information on the home page is quite limited though, but there are details of the welcome offer which includes a cash match deal from Glossy Bingo.

Registering an account with the site is a quite straightforward process but although there is what appears to be a quick registration form to the left of the main page, this simply takes you to the full registration form when you click ‘Go’. The usual details are required but not financial details are needed at this point and within moments you are ready to take a read of the Glossy Bingo headlines from the main lobby.

The room names are different from those that you will find at other brands using the Microgaming product and at the time of the review, rooms where quite limited. The site offers two versions of the online bingo game, just 75 and 90 ball games. The 75 ball is only available from 5pm currently but as the site becomes more popular, this may increase. However, what the site lacks in bingo

Glossy Bingo has a selection of promotions on offer and details can be found under the dedicated section at the site. These are detailed as Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Special.  The Daily section lists a selection of guaranteed, fixed and progressive jackpots whilst the Weekly looks at the standard offerings that you find at Microgaming sites yawn that see extra bonus funds given to game winners and their ‘nabors’.

Sadly Glossy Bingo boasts all the traits of other Microgaming bingo products available online today; irritating chat sounds, predictable promotions and limited bingo offerings. Whilst the name might suggest something shiny and interesting, the actual product does not live up to its name in our opinion.
