Game Village Review - Site Reviews
Game Village has gone through several changes in its life, including more than one software change. In line with new UK regulation in 2014 the brand made yet another move, this time to the Cozy Games software, but before you dismiss it, this is a bit different and on a brand new network, the Lucky Ducky network and it’s very different to other sites within the same network.
When you first land on the homepage you’ll notice the Game Village branding is still as expected, after all the site has been around for a very long time, and while players to the old software may find things very different, overall it’s easy to navigate and fairly easy to get around. The first thing you’ll need to do is sign up for a new account, and this account must be verified via email before you can deposit and start playing.
At the time of launch, although part of the Lucky Duck Network, it is a brand new network so Game Village was the first site to launch on it. This means you don’t have the really high player numbers of the other networks on Cozy Games, though this may well grow as the site and the Lucky Duck Network grows naturally. The site even has a forum, and it’s been a while since we’ve seen one of those around the bingo world, allowing players to chat to each other even when they’re not playing bingo.
Once you are ready to play you can hit the lobby, and while it is familiar to the software, it’s also working pretty hard to set itself apart. The bingo plays as well as on any Cozy Games site, it isn’t the most professional or the most popular software out there, but it’s playable and with the changes Game Village have made to deposits, withdrawal and wagering requirements it’s even more playable than other sites on the same software. There’s plenty of multi-price tickets, jackpots across the rooms and the bingo comes in three variants, 90-ball, 80-ball and 75-ball. Overall the experience is enjoyable with plenty to do and lots of exciting rooms. Ticket purchasing is a little fiddly and the site is missing a little of the sleek, perfect feel of some sites but the software is improving all the time and we definitely give any new site in a smaller network!
If you do fancy a change from the bingo, Game Village is well named when considering the sheer selection of slots, instant wins and casino games are available to play. It’s a fantastic casino interface with lots of selection, and plenty of big prizes too.
Complementing the games are as ever, the promotions and of these there are plenty at Game Village with big deposit bonuses, prize draws, guaranteed jackpots and slots promotions. Added tournaments and specials add a new dimension to the game and there’s plenty of them here!
Compared with some of the bigger software packages out there we’re not sure Game Village on Cozy Games is really competing, but held up against other sites on the same software and it’s pretty good indeed! It’s bright, it’s appealing and it’s recognisably Game Village with plenty of bingo, plenty of games and lots of promotions. A bit rough around the edges yet and failing in quality a little, but there’s quantity by the bucket load!
