Film Bingo Review - Site Reviews

Film Bingo closed in August 2017. The following details are for information purposes only and will no longer be updated.

In July 2014 the 19th brand launched on the 15 Network, a brand called Film Bingo. We were expecting a site that had a Hollywood type feel with exaggerated glitz and glamour and cheesy cartoon character as we clicked the link to visit the site. What we were presented with was a crisp, clean site whose design is more than fitting with the brand name. There’s a camera and film slide on the logo and even the expected bonus wheel has a cinematic feel. You certainly won’t forget which brand you are at with this site.

Jumpman Gaming is the software of choice for Film Bingo and you can get in on the action simply by clicking the ‘Join Now’ button and completing the standard registration form. Within minutes you are given your entrance ticket by way of your chosen username and password and are then shown to your seat, the lobby where all the ‘showing now’ rooms can be seen.

Although the bingo variants are quite limited on this network currently, just 75 ball pattern and 90 ball bingo there are enough rooms to choose from and plenty of instant win games available to make the gaming experience an enjoyable one. Additionally the network has many unique features like the Streak Buster, internal mail system and the buddy list.

The lobby is where you can see which rooms are currently open and which are hosted. Details from this section of the site include the house prize, ticket prices and the number of players in the room. Navigation around the lobby is straightforward with tabs showing you what is available (75 ball, 90 ball, jackpots and instant win games).

It would be all to easy to dismiss Film Bingo as just another networked site but actually, this brand is showing how different it is by offering exclusive promotions. At the time of the review there were two – one that is on going and based around the social networking site Facebook and another prize draw type give away. On top of this the owners have been transparent about how their profits are to be spent – developing the indie film industry through their small UK based production company. The Dogs of Annwn Ltd is the company and they have already got one feature film under their belt.

Film Bingo is a networked site, it does offer the same promotions as the other brands on the 15 Network BUT it is clear from the moment it launched that it does have plans to be a little different than the others. This may just be the trailer, the feature length Film Bingo is likely to improve with age – the plot will certainly thicken we think!
