Coral Bingo Review - Site Reviews
Coral is a well known name in both online and offline gaming with sports betting shops in our high streets and casino, sports, poker and lottery available online. There’s also the mobile arm of the brand to consider but before October 2012 the brand did not offer bingo to its customer base. Coral Bingo was added to the gaming wallet of this brand in 2012 and is powered by the popular Virtue Fusion / Playtech software, as is the case with many of the sports betting brands.
At launch it looked as though Coral were returning to their bingo roots (although it had taken them a while) as Gala Bingo was formed in 1991 when the Granada Social Clubs merged with the Coral Social Clubs who were owned by Bass plc. Gala launched in 1991 when 17 clubs rebranded and the new image was born. This was followed in 1997 with another 130 Gala clubs purchased from Bass. Online we have Gala Interactive, the company that own Coral Bingo.
The homepage of Coral Bingo may not have had the bells and whistles or pink colour scheme of many brands online today but the design was in keeping with the brand. There was a screen showing the current games in play with the option to see more and details of the Game of The Week.
In October 2015 Coral Bingo had a makeover and the site took on a slightly different design, one that enhanced the look and feel as well as made navigation easier.
If you’re impressed enough to want to try the site out, simply click “Register Now”.
It takes just a few seconds to register and once complete you are required to choose the gaming wallet you wish to visit; Sports, Casino, Bingo or Poker. Your new account is one that gives you access to all wallets. Click “Play Now” and you are asked to choose a Chat Name before being taken to the bingo lobby.
Your chat name must be different to the username you used to register with Coral.
From the lobby you can see the wide array of games available under several different tabs; 90 ball, Bingo 40/50, 75/80 ball, Multiplayer Slots, Specials and All Rooms. There is even a Club Finder tool were you choose your game type, ticket price, prize and number of players and the feature will find a room to suit your chosen preferences.
Coral Bingo, as well as offering 75, 80 and 90 ball bingo, also has themed bingo games to offer. You’ll find firm favourites like Coronation Street Bingo and Deal or No Deal Bingo available. Alongside these there are also Multiplayer Community Slots and of course, the usual portfolio of instant win games that we are used to seeing at Virtue Fusion brands.
Once in a room at Coral you will find the same layout, as at other brands using the Virtue Fusion software so if you are a regular player at sites powered by this software, you will feel right at home.
Navigation through the screen is simple as is purchasing tickets, there is nothing confusing in the game play, and it is standard to the software.
Coral Bingo lacked an interesting promotional schedule at launch but when the site had a makeover in October 2015, this changed. Players are no in for a real treat with special offered from the moment you register, exclusive offers and of course, all the great deals from the Virtue Fusion / Playtech network.
