Car Boot Bingo Review - Site Reviews

We’ve seen some pretty unusual names for online bingo brands as the industry has grown and the links between the names and the game have become tenuous to say the least. However, when Car Boot Bingo launched in September 2014 we were definitely left scratching our heads. Car booting is a popular pastime in the UK with many people hunting for a bargain on a weekend. Will this brand turn up a few bargains?

The home page design has a background showing what appears to be a car boot sale with an array of stalls and of course, cars. There are cars used to show the loyalty levels at Car Boot Bingo but overall, it’s not really a theme. The site bills itself as the UK’s first virtual goods bingo site. It will be interesting to see what ‘goods’ it has to offer. For that we first need to register for an account with the Cozy site that is part of the Live Bingo Network.

There are three stages to the registration process with the first just asking you to choose a username and enter your name and email address along with a password. The second requires your address and the third your financial details. Whilst we had no issues with registration you should note that unless you include your credit/debit card details at sign up, you will not be able to access the site. Adding these details is perfectly safe and no money will be removed from your account unless you choose to make a deposit.

From the main lobby, which is where you land as soon as you have validated your new account, you can see all of the rooms that the site has available. Car Boot Bingo offers four different types of bingo game; 75 ball, 80 ball, 90 ball and speed games, 30 ball bingo. In addition to the bingo there are also a great selection of instant win games available at the site. From the lobby you are offered a selection of details about each room that include the progressive or jackpot prize available, the pot prize, the price per ticket and the number of players in the room.

Simply choose a room that suits your gaming requirements and you are then taken to the room to play bingo. Upon entering any of the rooms you will feel right at home if you have played on the Cozy Games software before. The room layout is pretty standard to this software with the purchasing options to the left of the screen that become the callboard when the game is in play. In the middle of the room are the bingo tickets and above them are game details (i.e. the prize pool split and details of any jackpots on offer and the number of calls required to win them). To the left is your chat room but it’s all very hard to follow and extremely patronising. The host refers to players as luv or babe and insists on using all of the smileys available to him/her. Above chat are the instant win games.

When you check out the promotional schedule you will find that this is standard to the network. All operators who choose this product for their bingo offering are limited to the network promotions. That said, Car Boot Bingo advertises something as ‘Coming Soon’ from the main lobby that could make this site stand out from the crowd.

There is a faded out banner promoting the Car Boot Community Forum that is ‘Coming Soon’, apparently to be a chance to create your own store and shop for virtual goods. We’ll be looking out for this.

Sadly, with the only unique thing about the site ‘Coming Soon’ there is nothing to make this brand more interesting that all of the others available on this network. That said, in the coming months things could improve but don’t take our word for it, form your own opinion by visiting the site.
