Buckingham Bingo have shortened their name to Bucky Bingo and they are fronted by a groovy little guy all dressed up in purple sporting some bling gold accessories. You may be more familiar with the name Buckingham Bingo as a land based bingo club in the north of England, but like many of their land based counterparts, you can now play bingo with them online.
When you type in Buckingham Bingo you expect to be taken directly to their official website, but you are actually taken to a landing page as they go under Bucky Bingo a shortened version of their name. On their landing page you are able to view their latest bingo news (but this does not seem to be updated on a regular basis) and a little bit about them, but to register with them in order to play bingo you will need to click the ‘play online’ link, which will take you to the Bucky Bingo site.
The homepage of Buckingham Bingo is set on a pink and purple colour scheme, which coincides with their little mascot. The tabs are all their in plain view, so you can see what they have to offer very clearly and they are easy to flick through. Registering with them will only take a few minutes of your time, but it can be quite annoying if you make a mistake as you will have to re-enter your password. Once you have completed your personal details field you will be taken to another screen which gives you the option to enter your credit or debit card – however if you do not want to enter these at this point you can click on a small link at the bottom of the screen which says (go straight to bingo).
This way you will be able to view their bingo rooms etc, but to play bingo with them you will need to make a deposit first. If you decide you want to go straight to bingo, another browser window will open to load the lobby. In order to proceed you will need to select a chat name and this will be displayed as your alias in their chat rooms, so choose wisely. If you pick a chat name that has already been used, you will be asked to try again.
Buckingham Bingo are powered by Virtue Fusion, who are a Playtech company. In terms of games you will find traditional 90 ball, 80 ball and 75 ball, plus a few themed bingo games like Lucky Numbers. This game is based on 90 ball, but you also get to play for 3 additional lucky numbers jackpots. They also offer an array of other games such as slots, scratch cards and casino. Mini games can be played in the same browser window as bingo, so you can bingo and mini at the same time (without switching between screens).
In the game play options here are very good, you can change the shape and colour of your dabber, your dabber style from a pen to a hammer, tune your sounds to suit you, adjust the graphics and even how your chat window is displayed – so basically you can personalise your bingo window to suit you.
