Bingo Scotland Review - Site Reviews
Due to issues with the affiliate program for this brand we have chosen to redirect our readers to a site offering the same gaming experience.
Bingo Scotland has the tag line “bingo closer to home” but don’t think that this brand is only available to the Scots. Although the home page sports the Scottish flag, Bingo Scotland is open to all players, it simply has a Scottish theme. The landing page is quite bland in comparison with many we see online today; blue is the predominant colour and other than a bouncing bingo ball, details of the welcome bonus and recent winnings on the site – other information is a little sparse.
There is an easy navigation menu and this is where you’ll find one of the unique features of Bingo Scotland, their forum. Members of the site are given access to a locked forum specifically available only to Bingo Scotland members: register separately for the forum and you can share news, check promotions and enjoy general banter with other members of the site.
Registration takes no time at all BUT only if you don’t have an account at any other sites on the Cashcade network. You may come across problems with registration if your email address is registered to another site on the network, additionally there may be issues if your financial details have been used at other brands on the network. This is more than a little frustrating for players and could see them choose another site to play at quite quickly. Originally Bingo Scotland was a standalone brand but became part of the Cashcade network in the summer of 2011.
If you do finally manage to open an account at Bingo Scotland then you can login and go straight to the bingo lobby. You’ll see six bingo tabs; Scot To Trot, 90 ball, 75 ball, Pre-buy, Instants, Progressive Payout. Two of these tabs are not part of the network but restricted to players of Bingo Scotland. These are Scot to Trot and Progressive Payout – the latter is where players can play for the Progressive jackpots from the old standalone site so may not be available forever. Some rooms have restricted access to players who have made a deposit.
Game play is the same as on all sites powered by the 888/Globalcom software as are your ticket purchasing options and the layout of the bingo rooms. Tickets in the centre with game details above the bingo cards, purchasing options to the left that become your bingo call board when a game is in play and chat to the right with a selection of instant win games above chat.
Bingo Scotland offers something a little different from the other networked brands in so far as it boasts standalone rooms just for its own members but other than that there isn’t really much to make this brand stand out from all the others on the Cashcade network and with the issues at sign up, it could be a site that you leave before you even try their wares!
