Bingo Extra Review - Site Reviews

Bingo Extra opened to players at the backend of February 2015 and is the third bingo brand to be launched by Daub (Alderney) Ltd. It joined it’s sister sites Lucky Pants and Kitty Bingo in offering quite a unique gaming experience to the end user, although seems more slots focused than bingo. The site only offers two versions of the bingo game, 75 and 90 ball, but has a whole plethora of casino style games available.

We’d imagined that with a brand called Bingo Extra, one that created images of a newspaper (extra, extra, read all about it) that this is the theme we might have seen on the landing page but actually, the site doesn’t really have a theme. The home page is pastel yellow little to draw the eye other than the splashes of colour from the slot games shown.

However, that said, your eyes may be drawn to the welcome bonus because at launch the site did have a no deposit required bonus the included bonuses and free spins*. Additionally there was a choice of bonuses available on first deposit too. We were certainly keen to register and step inside…

Registration was a fairly painless process with an address finder; our only issue was that your mobile phone must be entered as part of the sign up process. All well and good but often this can lead to text spam which is infuriating! If you don’t want to receive texts, remember to untick the SMS box. Within minutes you are ready to play. You are first taken to the depositing screen but to take a look at the bingo offering, simply click ‘Bingo Rooms’ from the top navigation.

The lobby is certainly designed differently to most bingo sites. It is split into sections as most are; 90 ball, 75 ball, Five Line Bingo and Pre-buys. The usual information is available for each room from the lobby; game type, time until next game, ticket price, jackpot value. Simply choose a room to play in and you are good to go.

Once in a games room, we hope you have perfect 20/20 vision or at least your glasses on because these are REALLY small! We were using a Safari browser and found it really difficult to follow the chat as it was really tiny and the font awful! The layout of the room is pretty basic with the jackpot details to the left of the screen and a selection of instant win games, the tickets in the centre of your screen with purchasing options and chat to the left. If we are entirely honest, the tiny screen meant that we wouldn’t be playing regularly at this site for bingo. That said, Bingo Extra do have an extensive array of slot games and if you love a reel spin with your bingo, you could forgive the issues with the bingo game.

When it comes to promotions we were impressed with how populated the dedicate promotions page was. There are monthly prize draws, cash back, progressive jackpots and a lot more to be taken advantage of at Bingo Extra. We’re sure that you will be ‘reading all about’ this brand in the future.

*Please note that welcome bonuses change on a regular basis and this deal may not be available any longer.
