Bingo Boogie Review - Site Reviews

In September 2016 we noticed that the links to Bingo Boogie were not working. Whilst the site is still available, we have chosen to redirect to another on the same network.

Bingo Boogie has been knocking around the bingo world for a while and has had several relaunches, reloads and incarnations. Once the site was part of the Better Bingo Network, using trusted software from Virtue Fusion but now it’s relaunched again, this time as part of the Lucky Duck Network on Cozy Games.

The network is a little different from other Cozy Games offerings, and this is evident the moment you land on the Bingo Boogie homepage. For all its changes the site still has its original branding and logo, so you’ll be hit with plenty of bright pink from the off. It’s fairly easy to navigate and it only takes a few minutes to register a new account, though do use the correct email address as you will need to validate your account before you are able to play.

Once you’re ready to play, hit the bingo tab and you’ll see the lobby, in the main screen. From here the rooms appear in list format so you can just scroll down and choose your bingo room.

The bingo comes in plenty of flavours, and as of late 2014 when this was written, the Lucky Duck network remained small, so you’re not competing against thousands of players from different sites. There’s 90-ball, 80-ball, 75-ball available and from the lobby you can see details of the next game, pot size, player numbers and even the jackpot amount so it’s easy to choose a room from the lobby.

Hit the bingo room and the client will open in a brand new window, giving you an entire screen for bingo. Here the tickets take up most of the screen, with chat to the right of the screen and ticket purchasing to the left. The graphics aren’t quite to the standard of the Virtue Fusion software that Bingo Boogie used to use, nowhere near so in fact, but it is a playable interface.

Ticket purchasing is a bit fiddly and chat is missing some of the community sparkle you find at other sites, but there are plenty of BOGOFs, cheap tickets and big bonuses to make up for it.

At the top of the bingo screen you’ll also see links to the casino at Bingo Boogie, this can also be accessed under the games tab from the main page. Here you’ll find plenty of slots, instant wins and casino games. Again, some of the games are missing some of the sleekness of the bigger networks, but there’s plenty to play and some great fun to be had.

We’re not sure what was behind the change from Virtue Fusion to Cozy Games for Bingo Boogie, and we’re not sure it was a great move. If you’re a fan of this software then there’s plenty of appealing features, but if you’ve come from Virtue Fusion expecting the same experience from the site, you may be left sorely disappointed. The software used here has at times been the most slated on the net, but it has gone through many improvements, however, it still isn’t quite there yet and there’s plenty more to be done before the software, and therefore Bingo Boogie is quite making a song and dance with players.
