The Online Bingo Site Reviews - Editorial Criteria And Concerns

I will be looking at a number of things during my online Bingo reviews, there's more detail on this page about what I will be concentrating on and thinking about when I write these reviews.

About The Reviews

I'm a Bingo fan - so it's important to me that I try and get that feeling I enjoy in the clubs online. These reviews all happen as and when I get the time to do them. I play with my own money, I don't let the clubs know I'm reviewing them, and most importantly, I'll say what I really think about the experience.

Honesty is important to me when I write these, so you can be assured I'll not let anyone else influence these reviews. Sadly, many Bingo sites out there will either repeat reviews supplied by the actual online Bingo operator, or show bias to sites that give them extra financial incentives to do so. We also run affiliate links from this site and earn money from players we refer. That won't stop me speaking my mind though.

Here's the areas I'm concerned with.

First Impressions & Ease Of Sign up

Most sites will make or break your opinion of them during the sign-up process. If it's laborious and slow then I get fed up! I like to read the small print, and if my concerns aren't answered without a trawl, I get miffed.

Sign-Up Bonuses

Who ever said there's no such thing as a free lunch has obviously never tried online gaming. Most online gaming sites offer a free money bonus to entice you to sign up. Whilst they will usually give you a sign-up bonus, it usually has strings attached as in you have to play you money before you get it and can't just take it back. Still, a nice bonus means a nice few free games - so I'll mention the sign-up bonus and ease of use of it.

Community Spirit

The great thing about Bingo is the community spirit (unless you pinch someone's lucky seat of course...) Online Bingo tries to get the same feeling going with chat rooms and the like, so I'll mention how welcoming and helpful people are, whether real or chat bots.

Ease Of Use

How easy is it to play the games and navigate the site. I'm not interested in whizz bangery, I'm looking for simplicity and common sense in the site layouts, games and navigation. If there are glaring problems, or the experience is poor, I will moan about it - if it's great, I'll say.

Prize Money

Whilst we can't help you win, we'll look at the prizes and see what sort of range they have. Please note - these are general numbers and open to fluctuations and changes. They provide a snapshot of the times I was trying the site out and should just be seen as guide. I'm also interested in value, I like not paying a lot for tickets, but getting good prizes none-the-less.

Security

I like to feel secure when I play, padlocks, passwords, etc. I'll mention if there's any glaring security issues.

Overall Feel

Quite simply, my overall impression of the site - playability, features, value for money, offers, atmosphere and feel good factor. From this I'll give my overall score out of 10. My favourites will make it to my top recommendations list.
