Just a quick note for the history fans out there, Ian Grundy has returned with another Bingo hall history piece for the site, illustrated with his photographs. This time Ian has given us an insight into am independently run hall - The Clifton Bingo Club in York. He covers the building's early history as a cinema and looks at the changes made to turn it into a bingo hall. It's a marvellous piece, once more.
