Well, I've been busy the last week running through the information I gathered at the 2008 Online Bingo Summit. I attended the event last month in London and took lots of notes which I've been shaping it into a number of articles and opinion pieces for the site. You can read all the Bingo Summit articles here. As I did last year, rather than just report on the figures and news at the event, I tried to tie in a lot of what I think about online bingo and it's relationship to the wider game.
A number of things seemed to have changed since the last summit, TV being the biggest 'hot new thing' to be discussed. As well as the info in the panels I really enjoy going to the Summit, it provides a great opportunity for me to get out of my office and meet people in the industry as well as fellow commentators. I wish retail Bingo had a similar event, the only thing close is the Bingo Association's AGM, and I don't suppose they're likely to invite me to that any time soon given some of my views on what they get up to.
My coverage is pretty focused on information that would be useful for people already in the online bingo industry. If that's not you, but you still would like to see what's happening in the online bingo world as a player, it's well worth a look as well to see what motivates online bingo sites and what they have planned in the near future.
