The results are in, and I'd like to say congratulations to Blake Robson of the South Shields Mecca Bingo - winner of the title NBGA Bingo Caller Of The Year 2007 alongside his victory as the North East region winner. Blake beat off some stiff competition from the other five contestants to win the title. Along side the title Blake wins a trip for two to call Bingo in Las Vegas, the winner's trophy and £500 in cash. Blake will be spending the year as an ambassador for the game and no doubt be in demand for his calling skills following the event.
Given the amount of press people who've contacted this site about the event, it would be great to see some stuff on TV about the competition. If anyone spots a video to do with it on YouTube, let me know and I'll add to the channel. Expect to see further details and pictures of the event on the National Bingo Game's site, sometime soon. On recent form, by Christmas... ;)
