The open to all chain National Bingo Caller Of The Year Competition is still a few months away, but Gala have just held their own in-house competition. The winner was Michael Edwards of St Ann's Gala Bingo. 33 year old Michael was one of the North East finalists in last year's NBGA competition - and another singing Bingo Caller who'd been chasing the X-Factor. There's a nice trophy and a trip to Las Vegas as part of the prize. Congratulations from us here - let's see if he can follow in Brett Hyrjak's footsteps in the big competition.
