I'm a little late on this one - there's some interesting news on the Bingo Association that MP John Hemming has laid an Early Day Motion in the house of commons to help the Bingo industry. The motion (EDM No 1631 - Protection of Bingo Clubs) aims to address the double taxation the industry has to deal with, and that's at the root of a lot of the financial problems for smaller clubs. The motion calls for the removal of the VAT burden and could be a massive help to save the smaller clubs. If that is, it can be got through and doesn't take an age to be heard.
