Although it's a bit late for the old Gala Bingo Hall in Lancaster which closed back in February, it looks like the building could find a new life. Lancaster today reports the hall is up for sale with tenders being invited to purchase with the potential to turn it into a mixture retail and housing premises. There has to be some irony in that one - they used to shout house there, now it is one (groan...) It would be great if they could keep some of the buildings character and Art Deco features in the development.
