Another plus for Gala, they're about to launch new hand-held consoles that the smokers are allowed to play out on their smoking breaks. There are plans to put 120 machines into 170 clubs, as well as applying for outside licenses.
I'm still wondering why they're not trying some sort of mobile phone solution? I'm no expert, but I'd have thought this circumvented many of the licensing and regulation issues that come with club specific mobile console issues. Still, it's a step in the right direction but like many of the recent attempts to address the smoking ban problems, it's focusing on existing audiences rather than trying to grow new ones.
