News form icSurrey about a shocking attack on a Bingo night by local bored youths. The charity event at the church hall in Smallfield was attended by 50 players, including a OAPs and children. A gang of local thugs ruined the night by turning it into a night of fear. They even tried to booby-trap the exit from the club with a tripwire in the hope of causing injury to one of the players.
Back in October there was a similar story from York. It's unfortunate to see another such incident pop-up, especially given the vindictive nature of what was attempted with a booby trap. Once again Bingo fans have proved to be a soft target to those with mischief in mind.
