News of a top award for Stuart Booth the manager of the Mecca Bingo Club on Hartlepool Marina. Managing to beat of the challenge of another 100 competitors, he won the Sunrise Customer Service Champion award consisting of prize money of £2,000 and a trophy.
I have to say, it takes a special kind of manager to run a Bingo Hall. All the ones I've worked with have had that certain bit more than your average retail manager - so it's not surprising to see a Bingo manager win the award. It's a job you can't do without getting your hands in and being a real social part of the members' night out. Congratulations Stuart on the win.
