I wasn't aware of this - but in Northern Ireland, Sundays are a no-no when it comes to Bingo and gambling. This could be set change in the near future - proposals have been set to allow changes to the Sunday gambling laws following a concerted push by horse racing bookies and fans.
Plans are set to allow bingo clubs to open between 2pm and 11pm on Sundays - with strict protections for any people who choose not to work. There is still some uncertainty due to the current political situation at Stormont. Here's fingers crossed that Bingo fans from Northern Ireland get to enjoy a Sunday game like the rest of the UK.
