I don't often bother with the daily stories of big National wins, as let's face it, somebody wins it big every day. However, this one made me smile enough to want to feature it here.
Six women who lost money in the recent Farepak collapse have struck it lucky on the National Game, just in time for Christmas. The women were playing shares when they won the £100,000 prize at a Gala Club in Newcastle. They're sharing the winnings which means a nice £16,000 each. Read more...
