Scotland On Sunday have an interesting article on the Scottish Bingo industry's attempt to get a £10m tax rebate from Gordon Brown (good luck on that one!) The chairman of the Bingo Association will be at the forefront of the campaign to get the politicians to repay some of the VAT to offset the 20% drop in revenue since the ban kicked in. There argument being that legislation, not the market have caused the drop.
