Another Week...Another Bingo Closure - Old News Archive

Another club shut down this week, this time in Scotland; one of the most bingo loving parts of the United Kingdom. It's pleasing to know though that the club was packed out for it's final night making sure that it would close down with a bang rather than a whimper.
The other good thing is that once again a club in nearby Glenrothes is offering a coach service from Leven to there club....or should I say clubs: as TWO are offering seperate buses to each venue! Competiton is always good for the players and gives the Leven regulars the chance to try out both clubs and cherry pick the best promotions.
Even though this is a little silver lining, the fact remains that once again another town is deprived of a valuable venue for the community.
