Bingo Caller Of The Year 2006

Congratulations go out to Brett Hyrjak who today won the 2006 Bingo Caller Of The Year competition. Brett was the South's regional heat winner and bookies second favourite for winning the competition. His home club is the Gala, Bognor Regis Butlins.

He'll enjoy a year of special events and promotional tie-ins lined up till next year's competition. In the meantime, there'll be a summer Gala only competition, and a Mecca one as well before next year's national competition kicks off.

Canton Castle Bingo 18 Years Old

A birthday of note to mention. This week sees birthday celebrations at Cardiff's Castle Bingo club in Canton. The club opened 18 years ago. Now, that may not seem like much to get excited about, but it's worthy of note as this club was the first purpose built Bingo club in the UK. I've managed to do a couple more in depth reviews at the site. ABC Bingo we're another poor offering on the Globalcom network with very little to recommend it. I have to say, Globalcom's Bingo platform needs a lot of work, I almost avoid reviewing their sites as I know it's going to be a painful experience.
