We don't know much about the closure of Grange Bingo, although we do know a bit about it's past. Originally a cinema, the Grange was one of the first of the Modernist style cinemas in both it's exterior and interior design, and was quite a departure from Art Deco, which was the prominent style of the day. It had murals aplenty inside, many of which depicted Roman, and Greek scenes which was a popular stylistic preoccupation of the day. It's nod to classic interiors came in the form of chandeliers that stretched throughout the entirety of the building. Although the exterior of the building is not as eye-catching as many others of the day, it's design still warrants protection, and to our knowledge it thankfully still stands today.
