Gala Bingo Ritz History And Background

The building was originally opened as the Ritz Cinema in 1937, and continued to show films up until it was closed and reopened as a Bingo hall in 1984. The building was officially put on the market for sale at an asking price of £1.5 million. It's thought the building could be used for a number of purposes, from retail to residential. Currently there is no definitive news of a buyer and the use the hall will be put too.
