Gala Bingo History And Background

Gala Bingo in St.Stephen's was one of it's larger clubs, and when it closed for the final time it was at a loss of 33 jobs. After only 2 years in business it closed due to the financial problems that have been plaguing many bingo clubs over the past few years. Apparently these financial problems arose as soon as the club opened, and as they didn't relent, the club was forced to close. Unfortunately this would have probably had a knock on effect with nearby businesses losing passing trade. Not only are bingo players let down when a club closes, it is the whole community, including small businesses.
