Carlton Bingo History And Background

Another victim of economic factors, the Alexandria Carlton was closed in 2008 due to a lack of profitability. Locals were obviously upset, as they did collect over 300 signatures on a petition against it's closure, although this was to no avail. Now a furniture store, at least the buidling has not been demolished, so there is a possibility that at sometime in the future the petition signatories may see some redress to the loss of their cherished hall.
