Riva Bingo Aberdeen was located in the Queens Link Leisure Park, employing almost 30 people. It's demise would appear to have been more a fiscal imperative than part of a culling operation as the club was reportedly actually making a loss. In such unfortunate circumstances this is often the only option left open to the owner of the club - closure (in the most final sense).
A quite recent club, it opened it's doors in 1999 at a cost of four million pounds, and although it's members were upset at the closure it was unfortunate that there were not enough of them to keep the club afloat financially.
