The photographs below show that many of the features of the original Regal Cinema remain in place. Much of the lighting appears to have been replaced with modern fittings, but to the side of the stage in the columned recesses the original lighting schemes are evident. The plush foyer is a great shot, showing detail on the marvelous chandelier, which is further complimented with the use of pot plants which was a theme of the day, and in particular the aspidistra would have been evident which was a symbol of middle class opulence.
