Gala Bingo Nuneaton, Abbey Street Background And History
The building was originally opened as the Ritz Cinema in 1937, and continued to show films up until it was closed and reopened as a bingo hall in 1984. The building was officially put on the market for sale at an asking price of £1.5 million. It's thought the building could be used for a number of purposes, from retail to residential. Currently there is no definitive news of a buyer and the use the hall will be put to.
