Club Background And History
Kings Bingo is located just off the seafront in Sheerness. The venue was opened in 1936 as the Argosy Cinema, it had 1,250 seat, and also staged variety acts. It had a 14 foot stage and two dressing rooms, as well as a cafe. Taken over by Essoldo in the forties, it closed in 1968, and has been an independent bingo hall ever since.
