Club Background And History
Ipswich Mecca Bingo is located in the premises of an old cinema and offers bingo players the opportunity to play bingo everyday, afternoon and evening, and it regularly runs promotions to give you better value for your money.
The club is situated in what used to be the Odeon Cinema. The Odeon opened in 1936, and as you can see from the photo below, it was quite an impressive building. We are not sure when it closed, but we do know that it was a Top Rank Bingo Club before it became Mecca Bingo.
There's seating for 1200, and 50 EBingo terminals. There is a bar, and a cafe. For disabled patrons there is a disabled toilet, and disabled access. Please contact us if you can give us more information on this club's background or history.

Stick To Colchester
A friend and I came on Weds evening last week and won't be coming again. It was very noisy during the play bingo and the caller had the mike so close that you couldn't understand a word that he was saying. You didn't know if it was a line or a house, very bad. The main caller wasn't much better. I had to keep looking at which numbers were being called as you couldn't understand him either. Will stick to Colchester in future as you can hear what the caller says and it isn't noisy.
