Club Background And History
Chorley Gala Bingo offers bingo players the opportunity to play bingo everyday, afternoon and evening, and it regularly runs promotions to give you better value for your money, including free bingo - give them a ring to see when you can grab a chance to play for free.
The building itself is a good example of a 1930s suburban cinema, the auditorium being built back off the road, the entrance and front signage being sandwiched between residential and commercial buildings that may have been part of the same development project. The 'Odeon' opened in 1938, and had seating for over 1,500. It had a familiar 'fin-tower' which remains today, although the logo has been replaced with Gala's. It closed in 1971, and after a couple of years out of action was transformed into the Tudor Bingo Club which was purchased later by Gala.
If you do visit the club, have a look to see if there is still a tree growing on the roof (picture below) - they ought to do something about that if it's still there!
The club is located near Astley Park, it has a bar, diner, and slot machines if you fancy a little spin while you're waiting for the game to start. There are disabled facilities and there are 40 parking spaces. Please contact us if you can give us more information on this club's background or history.

I've been to Chorley Gala a few times and had some good wins. The staff are very helpful and friendly and prices are very good and a enjoyable days bingo.

How To Call House?
Can you please tell me the rules on how to stop play when you have won, I have been under the impression for the last 40 odd years that you had to stop play on the number that you win on by shouting bingo or house or anything that caught the callers attention, not by putting your hand up and shouting nothing. Is this just the rules at Chorley Lancs, you put your hand up when you want change for the desk top bingo? Surely when the caller can see that someone has won they are not expected to look round the hall for someone with their hands up, can you please advise.
