Club Background And History
Although we don't know much about Armley New Western Bingo Club, apart from its session times, we do know a bit about the venue's past.
The club is located in what was once the Palace Picture Hall, which was opened in 1912. It was originally an ice rink, but the Hall underwent several alterations, including expanding the seating, and after the cinema's closure in 1964, conversion to a bingo club. There is still a 'mini cinema' in the smaller part of the building which is now a separate venue which also includes a bar and sauna.
