Club Background And History
Aldershot Gala Bingo offers bingo players the opportunity to play bingo everyday, afternoon and evening, and it regularly runs promotions to give you better value for your money, including free bingo - give them a ring to see when you can grab a chance to play for free. The club is a part of the Ritz Cinema complex, the original building of dates back to the 1930s.
The club is located in the centre of Aldershot, it has a bar, diner, and slot machines if you fancy a little spin while you're waiting for the game to start. There are disabled facilities and there is a large multistory car park to one side of the club and a smaller car park to the other side.
The club is located in what once was a very large cinema, with seating capacity for almost 1800 moviegoers. Opened in the nineteen thirties, The Ritz Cinema was originally a film and variety venue, which also staged pop concerts in the nineteen sixties. Although the original Wurlitzer is long gone, this is one of the larger Art Deco interior design cinemas, and we're guessing that much of the decor is still intact. Have you seen it lately? Friendly Venue And Staff
Visited this bingo hall for the first time on January 11th 2012. Found the gentleman on reception and the manageress who sold us the tickets extremely courteous and helpful, as was the young lady serving at the canteen (refreshments were lovely). Although the prize-money was not huge, (okay, it was a midweek evening), the friendly venue and staff more than made up for it and we will definitely go again.
