Default How did you start in Bingo?

For those who work in Bingo, how did you start? Was it something that you'd always wanted to do, or a job that you fell into initially then discovered that you loved?

I started going with my Mom. It gave us something to do together and I really ended up enjoying the time spent playing bingo with her.

I remember being taken to the Bingo by my Granny when I was only small. When I started getting restless she would give me sweets from her purse (she did that at Mass as well) and when I got sleepy she would put me on her lap. How she managed me and all her cards I can't say.

Knowing how easy some find it to play Bingo she probably had no problem with her cards. That is a great memory to have.

I work as a manager at an online bingo hall - JackpotCity.com Online Bingo(www.jackpotcitybingo.com/index.asp?s=AFF107393) and I was originally drawn in by how much fun the game was.

I figured that if you can have fun at work, it might not feel like work at all So far, so good! I've been in the biz for just on two years now and for the most part it's been a larf

Lester

That's a good attitude to have about your work Lester. If only everyone could say the same.

Still having that larf two years on? That's brilliant, and I hope your entire Bingo career will be that way.

I always liked playing in school growing up. A friend of mine took me to a bingo hall when I was much older and I just loved it! We went several times a week! Now I have to say that I don't go as often, but I still love it! Just don't have the spending money....
