What us players like in our callers!

I was thinking, if any callers were wondering what they needed to do to improve, then this would be a good part of for them to read.

Personally, I like it when the callers take their time. It seems loads of the ones we have are rushing, I know why, its to get to the party bingo games where the clubs make a killing, but i think they should be concentrating on the proper big games as thats what we are all there for.

What bugs you about callers?

I have to admit, I like the ones that call faster, I was at a game once where it seemed to take ages just to call each number.

Muffled voices, that's what I can't stand, when you can't understand what the caller is trying to get out. Grates on my nerves

I appreciate the slower callers myself, but not tooooooooooo slow It's hard to say really and they can never do it right as we all appreciate different methods.

Being a bit deaf, a muffled voice really bothers me. If I can't clearly hear what is being said, I get frustrated. I will stay away from a caller that can't project.

I don't like very "flat" callers with no kind of expression behind them. I like a bit of alteration or it just sounds robotic.
