Faking It As A Bingo Caller

That makes sense. I did a lot of volunteer work when my daughter was in Head Start.

I know that I volunteered a few times to raise money for my son's school. But I didn't volunteer to call bingo. I think that I would just be to nervous. I really don't like the idea of being up in front of all those people.

I'd be so nervous! All those eyes on me. What if I missed a call? Argh! Nightmare! Hehehe.

That and if you drop a ball or miscall a ball I have seen people get really PO'd. Just not for me. I give you all credit that do the calling and enjoy it also.

I admire callers, if theyre good they really know how to make a night even more enjoyable.

I do agree that I it is not a difficult task.

I don't think that it would be all that difficult but I am just not one to have everyone looking at me waiting for the next ball to be called. I think I would just get to nervous.

I have never been a bingo caller, but never thought of it as difficult to learn. How hard is it to call out a number and letter?

I have never been a bingo caller but, I think I would be good at it because I have a performing arts diploma and love performing of any kind, but mainly my passion is in acting. Unfortunately I don't know how to get a break into the acting world. Bingo calling to me would be like a performance. I have been a croupier before and had to call bets, etc. I wasn't that great at croupiering mainly because I couldn't do maths and that really challenged me, but I loved the performance element of it. If I was a bingo caller I would put a lot of my own personality into calling and try to make people laugh. I think it would be a great job.
