I was sent this complaint by an unhappy player at Chat Magazine's Bingo site. Chat Mag Bingo is a Gamesys / Jackpot Joy site, and this player was caught out by the deposit bonus withdrawal rules, as many players are. Here's her compliant.
I really wish sites wouldn't use such tactics with their deposit bonuses. It doesn't do them any favours for their players. If this person had been able to withdraw the winnings straight out she probably would have carried on playing with them. It's not like the prize money would have cost the site anything, the prize money is covered by the players. I really can't fathom why this practice is acceptable.I registered with chat online bingo as it was my fave magazine. As usual it was £10 deposit and they gave a £10 bonus. I won £100. When I tried to withdraw the money they wouldn't allow it, the rules are you have to wager 4 times that amount before you can get any back. I was gutted...I have to pay it all back. I should have read the small print but as its chat magazine I trusted them. Their magazine is full of con stories. Maybe mine should be one of them.
