Welcome to the site Mercedes61263 - I have to say i've never tried Gone Bingo. I'm guessing the money you won was off the initial free money? It's quite common in the online Bingo world to see terms and conditions on any wins from that free money. You may need to deposit before you can withdraw, just so they have you card details to transfer the money too.

That said, I have won on the free portion of a sign up after I've deposited and not had any problem withdrawing the money (high minimum withdrawal amounts excepted) - have you deposited anything first?

From their FAQs:

Q. Is there a minimum amount for a deposit?
A. The minimum deposit required to play games, purchase cards and be eligible for winnings is GBP £10.

Have you at any point deposited?

I to have run across this also. More than likely if you won on your free cards and have not deposited money that is why you cannot collect your winning. I would think your account will show it still as winnings and as soon as you deposit money you should be able to collect it. I did the exact same thing when I first started playing online.

What would be the average amount that these sites are requesting that you deposit? Are they legit? Will they actually pay out if you make your deposit?

Wow, that really does sound odd davey. It would confuse me as well. I would have thought that since you deposited money that you should be able to cash out. That is really wrong.

So were you ever able to get your money back that you won. That really doesn't sound right to me either. I have always been able to withdrawel aslong as I deposited money.

I am wondering the same as well, I wonder if davey ever got his/her money back. That truly would be bad if they didn't.

Most places require that you play the bonus through a couple of times, usually only on bingo games (not the mini games)

When playing on a free trial amount and you win, some sites even get outraged that you want to deposit THEN to be able to withdraw! LOL Some playthrus are very high and often include deposit and bonus amounts. However, even if you do deposit, you may not withdraw any winnings from a free play. If you win...say 100 on a free ten, and then decide to depo 20 and have 5 left on free. If they give you a 100% deposit bonus you would have 145. the 100+5 is NOt withdrawable. The 40 ( 20 depo and bonus) may have a 2 to 10 times playthru before anything can be withdrawn. So, , seeing as they use cash to play first, if you are lucky enough to meet playthru and request a withdrawal on the 40, most sites remove all bonus balances anyway, so the 100 would be taken backbecause it is non- cashable monies. It is best to always read ALL the rules and understand them! If you dont, always ask and keep a copy of the communications between yourself and the support of a site.
A great deal of tricky stuff going on out there in bingoland.
